Litchfield Paddle Update 7/1/26: Book Online Today!

 Litchfield Paddle is elevating the casual paddling experience.

It's going to be a busy Holiday weekend, and we are open 7-days-a-week for paddling fun! Book in advance right on our website, give us a call, or walk right up to our canopy and table at our two State Park locations. We've got racks of mostly brand new boats and boards, personable and attentive Staff, PFDs in all sizes, drybags, ice-cold bottles of water, and other amenitites.

Last Thursday we had the honor of hosting the Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner of DEEP, the CT Office of Outdoor Industry and Experiences, and other public officials, at our Mount Tom State Park location, for a ribbon-cutting and Press Conference. We were grateful for the opportunity to thank these folks, as well as the boots-on-the-ground DEEP Staff at our beautiful State Park locations, for the work they do. Without it, none of this would be possible.

Tomorrow, Thursday 6/25, we'll be honored to host the CT Office of Outdoor Industry and Experiences, and other public officials, at our Mount Tom State Park location, for a ribbon-cutting and Press Conference. We'll be celebrating the State's continued successful efforts via the Partnerships in Parks Initiative, to bring greater access to the wealth of outdoor experiences that the great State of Connecticut has to offer.

This past Saturday, we had a great time participating in the No Child Left Inside Boating Day Event at Lake Waramaug State Park! We enjoyed working with our DEEP and other colleagues, and it was great to see so many new paddlers on the water!

As we type this, we’re preparing a stunning paddling experience for the first Guests at our Litchfield Paddle @ Camp David location. We are so proud to offer this truly unique, appointment only, boutique paddling experience right here on Bantam Lake.

You may have noticed our temporary yard sign on Bantam Lake Road. There is a wood one coming soon. More Importantly, we've installed a Paddlecraft rack right by the water, and we've begun to add some of our most popular Paddleboards and Kayaks to it, and assembled a rack for our PFDs and Drybags. Camp David really is a little slice of heaven. Park, walk down to the lake, and head out on your own idyllic paddling experience.
