Litchfield Paddle Update 5/12/2025

It's a lovely (if chilly) Monday morning here in Litchfield! We provide rental kayaks, paddleboards, and canoes. We deliver everything you need right to the water. We paddle for fun, and so should you.

Little Pond Paddle

For our 2nd official paddle of the season, we took advantage of a beautiful mid-morning on Thursday. The higher water level due to the recent rain allowed us to get all the way upstream to Little Pond! Those adorable beavers often make it a challenge to get all the way, but we had no trouble in our recently acquired Quest Canyon 100s. You'll find them to be ideal rental vessels: stable, spacious, sturdy, and fun to paddle.

Wakesports

Looking for some higher-octane fun? Look no further than our good friends at CT Watersports. We would not be here without them, and they will show you a great time.

Wanted

 Today is another beautiful day to get on the water. For our first official paddle of the year, we paddled between beaver dams on the beautiful and mostly empty Bantam River. We're looking forward to our first Bantam Lake Point Folly paddle soon!

After a brilliant stretch of weather, it looks like this next week may be a little rainy. Hopefully by this time next week it will be time to get back on the water! For our most dedicated paddlers: carry on. We're here for you if you need us.
